David Weir joined the team in March 2024, after previously working at The Lowry as a Marketing Executive.

Based in Manchester, he organises regular festivals in Chester and launched North West-based music promotion company Choir of Outsiders in 2022, which specialises in experimental folk. He has written for Clash Music, Caught by the River and KLOF Magazine. In his spare time he enjoys singing, and playing guitar and harmonium.
